Political debates should not employ moderators!

Moderators all try to participate in the debate from theit own political perspective and that is not what the debate is for.

Instead, use the standard college debate format (below), NO Moderators.

OnlY a Timekeeper.

For each question (Example: Resolved that I, the person speaking, should be *****), use the following:

1. 1. Pro position (5 minutes) [Pro Team]
   2. Rebuttal (3 minutes) [Con Team]
   3. Con position (5 minutes) [Con Team]
   4. Rebuttal (3 minutes) [Pro Team]
   5. Teams question each other (5 minutes/team) [Both teams]

For an hour and a half debate, three such question could be addressed in sufficient detail.

The "resolved" questions should be known to both sides.

Don't tax the active and retired military

Solve the recruiting problem, avoid having to go to the draft, eliminate taxes on the active and retired military.

They deserve it!

It doesn't make a lot of sense for the government to pay them and then pay for a bureucracy to take some of it away from them.
