Synopsis:  ALPHA MADIGAN (35) is an ex-Navy cryptologist whose career ends in the crash of his aircraft which he barely survives. He’s a “straight arrow” guy who believes in truth and personal honor, works for a computer company on a special project to build a high-speed quantum computer (QUANTA). He longs for his ex-wife CARRIE BLOOM (32), beautiful and vivacious writer and artist.  But she left him, wouldn’t put up with his addiction to computers. NICK "GREEK" KALLOPOLIS (25) is Alpha’s best friend.  Alpha taught him how to program computers. EDWARD (STORM) FLOOD (36), is a college classmate of Alpha.  He and Alpha competed for Carrie in college; Alpha won.  When Alpha and Carrie separated, Carrie “took up” with Storm.

CEO, ELECTROBOT MANOR BICK (55) sponsors' the special project, then wants it destroyed once he understands its potential impact on business. Sends HUMOR BILT (38), big, tough Cajun.  lives up to his last name but not his first to find Alpha. Alpha evades Humor, goes to Carrie’s apartment, seeks her help, also wants to "get her back”.  She’s not so sure she wants him back, tells him to see Storm who may be able to sell QUANTA for him.  Alpha takes QUANTA to Storm who sells it to -- DOMINIC (DOME) KILLAN (40), involved in underworld “money laundering” and illegal trade deals, a tough man who gets what he wants. He plans to rip off the world by using QUANTA’s intrusive powers.

Dome tells Storm that as part of the deal, he must deliver Alpha to him within two days – he needs Alpha to build more QUANTA. Storm balks. Dome brings in – MARCEL (HATCHET) HEBERT (40), HIT MAN FOR Dome, who “persuades” Storm. Alpha, Carrie, Alpha Storm and Greek are in a hideout in rural Virginia.  Techno-chaos ensues as Dome uses QUANTA on banks, politicians and Union Bosses to extract money and favors. A PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN is underway and Dome uses QUANTA to extort money from the candidates and influence voters.

The clock ticks: Storm must send Alpha to Dome or Hatchet will kill him.  And, he only has some of the sale money; the rest due when he turns over Alpha. Carrie emotionally opposes Alpha going to Dome.  They make love, finds each other again – maybe -- does he want her or QUANTA?  Greek suggests he go to Dome and find a way to communicate to them where Dome’s hideout is and they will come, save Alpha and destroy the monster – QUANTA. Alpha makes a hard decision:  he’ll go to Dome.

Alpha joins Dome in a hideout not revealed to him – he’s masked. YANA IRISTOVA (30), petite, a real dish, computer programmer for Dome uses her heavy-handed charms to keep people of his “staff” in line, forces herself on Alpha, becomes his mistress. NGUYEN LY CAI (Cai) (32), computer programmer for Dome, rivals Yana and is secretly not sold on Dome’s enterprises.  Dome’s victims call in SPECIAL AGENT THOMAS (SORE) THROTE, a shadowy figure who becomes hot on the trail of Dome.

Alpha starts building more QUANTA for Dome, tries to signal Greek, Storm and Carrie as to their location near his old Navy base. But Yana finds him out.  She knows about his narrow escape from his downed Navy patrol aircraft - - trapped in the fuselage with rising water. Feng and Hatchet put Alpha in a water torture box to terrorize him with claustrophobia and make him compliant with Dome’s wishes.   Can he endure, or will he join Dome’s team?

The Louisiana Bayou, Dome’s final hideout aboard Motor Yacht MADAM ODIE, named for the “lady” who ran the "A-number-one-best" Gentleman's House on Bourbon Street.  Alpha’s friends locate Madam Odie, anchored in the bayou, buy a rubber inflatable boat and venture into the swamp for a dynamic finale with several shocking twists.
